Biography
My twin sister (Katie) and I were born on Oct. 12, 1987 in Munster, Indiana. We have an older brother (Ryan) who was born Jun. 3, 1983. I grew up with my father playing professional keyboard and my brother being a record-breaker guitarists. My twin sister is now living in Hollywood, CA doing celebrity hair and fashion shows, etc. My passion for photography started with my mother. She is a freelance and wedding photographer. I grew up constantly being in the dark room watching my mother work and grew to love the hobby. When I was 15 years old, my mother got our first digital camera and I wouldn't go anywhere without it. I then started to take live-photos of a lot of local bands and grew a little name for myself as a young teenager taking photos. I was still using film as well and would develop a lot of these photos in my basement with my mother. Right out of high school, I gave birth to a baby girl named "Laina-Paige." I was only 19 but did everything I could to support her and still do. She was born 12.20.2006. I decided to go to my "dream" college in downtown-Chicago for Digital Photography, Harrington College of Design. I grew very advanced with editing and the technical skills and I keep on building up my knowledge every day. I'm now being nationally recognized for my work with Paul Mitchell, Kelly Cardenas Salon, my major event photography, and my freelance photography. I hope to motivate people just like me and make dreams come true just like it has for me. I will continue to learn for the rest of my life. No matter how big-headed people get, one never stops learning, no matter how big you are in any industry. Keep your mind and options open. Their is always the next best opportunity waiting on your footstep if you are willing to learn and take that chance.
